Happy Birthday Emma!

Emma was just six weeks old when I met her. It was my birthday, and her mom and dad brought her for a visit, spreading her out on a blanket in front of the fireplace and watching her kick her little legs and stick out her tongue. She was so tiny... so sweet... and now she's six. How did that happen???

We spent the evening with Emma and her family, celebrating this special, special girl. We ate pizza and birthday cake, danced to Hannah Montana songs, and oohed and aahed over her gifts. As we were packing up to head home, Emma told Uncle Mike, "I don't want today to be over. I'm having so much fun!" It was a lot of fun, indeed, especially to see Emma smile in a way I had not seen in some time.

Toot! Toot! Let's Party!

Making her birthday wish.

Edie was very excited for cake, too. :-)

The ever-silly Uncle Mike.

I just love watching the girls play with Aaron. He sure loves them - he's going in for a kiss in this one...

Birthday loot.

It was definitely a Hannah Montana kind of birthday. Dolls. Cards. Costumes. Wigs. All HM. The wig was very.... entertaining.

Uncle Ricky.

We love you, Emma!!!
